I’ve been working in the interior textile industry for almost 20 years and have gained in-house experience as a designer in several studios including Ashley Wilde Group and Natasha Marshall Ltd creating fabrics, wallpapers and other interior textile products for a variety of UK and European clients. This background provided me with the opportunity to hone my technical knowledge and gain production experience working alongside textile mills and manufacturers.

I am a versatile and creative textile designer. For the past 6 years I have worked as a freelance designer contributing original home furnishing designs to an internationally renowned textile portfolio.

Focused mainly on print and weave but with an adaptable style, I am a detail orientated designer with an excellent eye for colour. My work is characterised by an ability to combine hand painted/drawn techniques effectively with CAD software including AVA and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

I am skilled not only in the creation of original, seamless repeat designs and concepts but also in separations and colouring, I am also accustomed to working with archive artwork and designs and have a varied and flexible design hand.

I love to create bold, graphic patterns but also enjoy hand painting. I can help you to create repeat patterns or prints for your brand which can be applied to packaging, wall art, textiles, wallpaper or any other physical product. Alternatively I can help with separations and colour direction for existing designs. I also work with individuals to create personalised greeting cards and prints. 

From the smallest of personal projects to a large commercial commission i’m happy to discuss your brief and help you find the most creative, imaginative and technically sound solution.
