The Hepworth Wakefield Summer Fair
Bobbie Print regularly takes part in fairs and markets at The Hepworth Wakefield. This month we were able to exhibit at the Summer Fair which not only includes a maker’s market but outdoor performances, food and activities, it really was a great day out and as always a really enjoyable weekend and a good opportunity to visit my home city.
Our most popular screen print designs; Winter Bear and Starbuck are always admired but we have had several requests for these designs in smaller scales. As much as I love the large scale prints and the impact they can make in a room sometimes wall space is tight and especially when buying a print as a gift sometimes smaller is better, it’s not so much of a statement and much easier to find a home for a small framed print. With all this in mind we have produced Winter Bear and Starbuck in 21x30cm (approx A4) versions and we were able to present these prints for the first time at the Summer Fair.
The Hepworth Wakefield is a great venue and any event there is always a good experience. The Summer Fair was fun and i’m already looking forward to taking part in the Christmas Market there on the 23rd - 25th November.
