Saltaire Arts Trail

Saltaire Arts Trail

Saltaire Open Village May 2026

I'm so excited that after quite a few years of visiting Saltaire and the Art's Trail, this year I'm able to be part of the Saltaire Open Village

I've taken part in the Saltaire Maker's Fair several times in the past but now that I'm a resident in Saltaire it seemed like the perfect time to join in with the Open Village.

If you’ve never been, the Saltaire Arts Trail is a truly unique event. The programme combines The Saltaire Maker's Fair, Open Village, exhibitions and workshops for a weekend celebrating creativity, art and design.

The Open Village part of the Arts Trail gives the residents of Saltaire the opportunity to transform their historic homes, creative spaces and businesses into pop-up galleries. Choosing to display their own work or welcoming artists and designers from further away into those spaces to create a network of mini galleries spread across the village.

It's a chance for visitors to step inside the iconic honey-coloured stone cottages of this UNESCO World Heritage site and see contemporary art and design in a domestic setting. It's also a great chance to speak to the artists and designers and get a more detailed look at their work and practice.

Where and when?

The event runs across Saltaire on the weekend of the 2nd-4th May 2026, each location will be open daily from 10am-5pm.

Take a look at the Open Village Map to see all the locations, Bobbie Print is Location number 5.

What to expect from Bobbie Print?

I'll be exhibiting my ever growing collection of Risograph mini prints and greeting cards. I'll have the full collection on display, from favourites such as Crab and Lobster to Blue Tit, Goldfinch and the two Budgies which are always talking points!

I've been working hard in the studio preparing and getting everything ready ahead of this event and excitingly there will be some new mini prints available during this weekend. If you're an admirer of my 'Fancy a Pint, Cuppa or Dip' cards then these new designs should be right up your street!

I can't wait to share these new pieces with you in such a personal and welcoming environment, it's something completely new to me and I'm looking forward to being able to curate my prints and cards in my own space.

Whether you're a serious art collector (maybe a Bobbie Print collector?!) or just looking for a creative way to spend the May Bank Holiday weekend there's something for everyone.

Plan you visit

You can find more information, including a full map of the Open Village locations and a list of all participating artists, on the official Saltaire Inspired website.

Remember Bobbie Print is Location 5 on the Open Village Map (I'm sandwiched between The Little Craft House and The Village General Store (both on Saltaire road) however entry to my space is via Shirley Street, just round the corner. Take a look at the map here.

I would love to see some familiar faces (and meet some new ones!) during the weekend. Please stop by, say hello, and have a look at what I’ve been creating.

Looking forward to seeing you in Saltaire!
