The Hepworth Wakefield Print Fair 2018
Bobbie Print has exhibited at The Hepworth Wakefield's Christmas Market for the last two years and this year we were lucky enough to be able to take part in their Print Fair.
Initially the fair was postponed due to snow (if you know me you'll know that I LOVE snow - not this time!!) but it was rescheduled to later in the month and as ever with events at The Hepworth it was a thoroughly enjoyable and successful event!
We launched several new products at the print fair including our two new risograph prints: Posey and Beachcomber.
Posey is inspired by the 1950's mid-century-modern design aesthetic. The simple, stylised, floral illustrations have a naive and retro charm.
Beachcomber expands on the bird motifs that were first used in our Flock of Birds screen print and takes inspiration for the coast and English seaside.
It's always inspiring to be surrounded by so many talented designer makers and to meet fellow designers who work I have admired.
Particularly great to meet Laura Knight and The Lost Fox who both create distinctive screen prints.
