The Hepworth Wakefield Christmas Market 2016
Although Bobbie Print is based in Glasgow originally I am from Wakefield in West Yorkshire so it was a real pleasure to be able to take part in the Hepworth Galleries Christmas Market on the 26th and 27th November.
The Hepworth celebrates the work of artist Barbara Hepworth who was also originally from Wakefield. You can find our more about Barbara and the Hepworth by following this link.
The Christmas Market itself took place in The Calder and it really was a great space which felt incredibly festive with lots of fairy lights (you can never have too many), Christmas songs and our very own Christmas tree!
The Christmas Market was an opportunity to buy unique and often hand made Christmas gifts (or perhaps a little treat for yourself) from a variety of designer makers from around the UK.
Bobbie Print hand pulled screen prints and greeting cards were available from our stall as were our four brand new litho printed notebooks which feature some of our favourite screen print designs - Flock, Summer and Autumn. It has to be said that quite a few people obviously received Bear and Hare enamel pins in their Christmas stockings this year as these were definitely the most popular Bobbie Print product over the weekend!
