Sketchbook Drawings and New Wall Art Collection Preview
It's been a busy time here at Bobbie Print, in between enjoying the arrival of Spring with bright, little flowers poking their heads above ground and the lighter, longer evenings i've been working on developing a couple of new printed wall art designs.
As ever, I find it best to start new designs with sketches and drawings, scribbling and thinking with a pencil or pen in hand. These new print designs are inspired by the flora of Spring and Autumn, stylised to have a more pattern like appearance and a more simplistic feel. Continuing the ethos of the Fauna Collection, these new screen prints are hand printed in the UK, celebrating not only the aesthetic appearance of each design but also the skill and craftsmanship of their production.
The prints themselves are currently in progress, they'll be available to purchase online from the Bobbie Print webshop and Etsy shop in early May. Here's a small preview of some of the early sketches and drawings that were used in the development of the new designs.
